Most of my time this week has been spent playing beach volleyball on the Riviera Maya. There are about 4,000 people staying at the resort, and more than half of the volleyball players have been from Colorado – with about half of the Coloradans being Russian immigrants. Almost all of the rest of the players are French speakers from Canada and France.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Hey Tony! So glad that you are having a nice vacation in the warmer climes! That is odd about the volleyball population. Maybe all those folk from Colorado and Russia are just thawing out for the first time and feel a need to move around. 🙂
Have a great Thanksgiving!
I do not get the FAT reference, but I am glad you are having fun in the sun. I hope those Cannucks and Russians are women (at least some!)
I trust it’s a logical OR. I hate being untrue.
Steven,
Mexico rocks! Have a ball – I am vicariously enjoying your vacation! And no wonder Russians and Canadians love it there – I run into Canadians every time I wander down Mexico way; it’s freaking cold where they come from. And isn’t the sky a beautiful shade in Mexico? I always notice it; it’s subtle but somehow unmistakable.
The warmunists have pulled off the greatest propaganda / public relations scam in history convincing an enormous segment of world population that mild weather, blue skies, and the greening of the planet constitute a horrible threat.
Oh. And we must act now.
Nah. Let’s make hay while the sun shines!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Screwed up the formatting! Sorry!
Those must be those climate refugees that the UN IPCC was warning us about.
I guess ice hockey is out of the question. In any case, is Cancun a better deal, more fun, this time of year, than say Southern Florida?
I get room, food, drinks, pool, beach and entertainment here for less than the cost of the drinks alone in the US. The weather is warmer, the people friendlier and the accommodations are fantastic.
Only better in Flordia is you can drink the water.
Who is drinking water on the beach? 😉
I haven’t been to Mexico in about a decade and have never been to Cancun. It’s sounds nice. Thanks
I’ve never been to Cancun either, I am further south on the Yucatan Peninsula.
The problem with southern Florida is that they are subject to cold snaps in winter where highs can drop into the 50’s or worse. Cancun very seldom gets cold.
