My question exactly. I knew a guy once that got fed up with our country and claimed he was leaving – he was going to New Zealand. He left. Further investigations showed he moved to Oregon.

I think we should offer to pay 25% of their relocation costs if they agree to sign paperwork giving up U.S. citizenship for life…or at least for the next 13 years.
This has been an unstated meme for a long time, someone needs to give it a name. I’ve had multiple friends say it, heard it many times from vague acquaintances and even (when I was younger) I remember my parents saying it in the lead up to more than one election. The last time I personally heard it from anyone was 3 months ago (our elections in Australia are about a year out so I expect it to start rising here soon).
In summary the total number of people who I have heard or read this ultimatum from and who then carried it out is zero.
Yeah, we have enough Liberals in Canada as it is, and besides when they move here and see the price of gas and the taxes we pay they won’t stay long. 😆

They ‘left’ this country a long time ago, by moving so far Left. The failure of their radicalism just reminds them of that.
