Huge Increase In Autumn Snow Cover Over The Past 35 Years

Autumn snow cover has been steadily increasing towards record levels, and is up more than 30% since 1979. Experts are very careful not to talk about this, because it wrecks their fake little theory which keeps their funding coming in.

wow MSM maybe the AGW is actually falling apart

Reblogged this on Climatism and commented:

Snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event.”
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

The Chileans are coping onto the scam its in Spanish

  5. Scott Scarborough says:

did you remove 1969 and 1971 from the calculation of the linear regression since they are labeled “ND”? (You can’t count them as zero)

  6. James Strom says:

This looks quite familiar. I grew up with brown/black snow in Chicago.

Seriously, thanks for this. I wonder how big the albedo effect turns out to be.

  7. eliza says:

A list of persons responsible for this scam will have to brought to justice 1. Maurice Strong 2. Michael Mann.

    35 years from 1979 to 2014, not 25 years.

The bulk of that autumn snow increase is in North America. An ice-age pattern?

    Carry on!

  10. Crowbar of Daintree Forest says:

OK, someone’s gonna say it. Might as well be me.
1979 looks like a huge cherry-pick. Look at 1976 in comparison.

    • David A says:

Of course it is, but not Tony’s. The alarmist all use 1979 as a basis, as it was exceptionally cold. As they use it often, it is a fair bases from their predictions of ski resorts closing, children not knowing what snow is etc.

Besides, in general skeptics are not asserting this will continue. Why? Because they, skeptics, believe in climate change, and they expect it to.

I remember driving on what must have been a single sheet of ice from St. Louis to Northern WI over the 1979 Christmas holiday. It was an epic winter.

  11. Mike D says:

Here’s a headline that would be all over the place if it were latest ice formation instead of earliest. Instead it is just Michigan news carrying it, plus the Daily Mail in the UK.

Imagine that after so much cold and snow in the US (less than 3% of the earth’s surface) the average global temperature is still raising.

    • Jason H says:

      Fixed
Imagine that after so much cold and snow in the US (with cold records out pacing warm records at more than 2:1) NASA and NOAA actually still have the average US temperature is still rising.

    • Imagine that after near record October Northern Hemisphere (50% of the planet) snow cover, NOAA and NASA still tried to claim it was the hottest October ever.

    • Gail Combs says:

Imagine that after so much cold and snow in the US (less than 3% of the earth’s surface) Canada, Russia, China, the USA, the EU and even the Middle East and India (the northern hemisphere) the average global temperature is still raising due to the manipulations of politically motivated government employees.
      …..
      There fixed it for ya.

Just because the elite owned propaganda outlets don’t report the snow doesn’t mean it isn’t happening in other parts of the world. Argiris Diamantis has been doing a darn fine job of ferreting out the information. Here is one from two days ago.

Seems it has already been pulled by “Torstar, progressive media company … committed to corporate sustainability” Not surprising since the CEO, John A. Honderich, is a graduate of the Fabian’s London School of Economics (1986) and “wrote Arctic Imperative, published in the fall of 1987 by the University of Toronto Press, in which he outlined the serious dangers threatening Canada’s North.”

They have yet to pull the google link to the page though so the article did exist two days ago.

Isn’t it nice to know Winston Smith is busy protecting you from the truth?

Holland Marsh Growers Association estimates there are approximately 200 acres of carrots still in the ground locally….

      Alternate: http://www.freshplaza.com/article/131603/Canada-Acres-of-carrots-remain-in-ground-after-snowfall

Holland Marsh, is Holland Marsh, Ontario.

I find it amusing they went to the trouble of actually pulling a story about Canada. Talk about taking a cover-up too far…
