That looks like ‘normal’ winter weather to me :P.
Normally, southern New Mexico would be about 20 degrees warmer than that.

I’ll give you that, but I don’t live in NM. I was looking at the part of the country about 2000 miles further east.
At least it is sparing my in-laws – I need a place to escape the cold and the fund raiser in February is always nice in Imperial California!
I’ll be in Breckenridge snowboarding starting January 3, so I’d like to give a shout out to all of you gas guzzlers and thank you for all of the snow.
Are you going to visit Heyhoe while you’re down?
If Steve did, Hayhoe would scream she was being attacked by a denier and try to get poor Steve arrested.
Sorry, we are expected to export this extra ‘warm’ winter ‘weather’ from Canada to the USA….unfortunately, we can’t get rid of all the cold air, we have to keep some…rats….
Well, enjoy your trip out west.

Is that in °C?
Yes.
Me and my SUV: Just doing my part to combat climate cooling, increase plant growth, and reverse desertification.
We badly need Al Gore to pay a visit to the European Alps.

0°C isotherm at 3,000 meters tomorrow – it was lower than that in August.
I gave my SUV to my husband and got another mini-van. Boy, did i miss the extra space.
Have a good time, whatever the weather!
Well that answers one question I had. You definitely aren’t much into snow skiing. Otherwise you would be happy about it.
I grew up 15 minutes from skiing, and bought season passes for $20. Now it means hours of driving and hundreds of dollars for one day. I would rather ride my bicycle!
And the slopes are not nearly as good.
Bikes are better!
That is why I took up X-country ski and telemark. Down hill is just too expensive now. I used to go to one resort, Mount Sunapee, and ski the bunny slope. I often ended up being the ‘catcher’ for the handicapped skiers because I could easily move up and down slope and retrieve their equipment for them. Met a lot of ‘Nam vets that way.
