    I was born in Wisconsin in 1950. Not only were the summers so hot we swam in Lake Geneva, the winters had snow and blizzards but not the severe cold my own daughter grew up with, born in 1972 and living in NYC.

    Also, in Arizona where we moved to Kitt Peak, it grew colder and colder with more and more snow and was much, much wetter than today, from 1962 to 1978.
