They are such liars. And it’s a very convenient lie since it will probably tens of thousands of years ( if ever ) for humans to send a probe there to send back photos. The astronomers will be long dead but will have enjoyed the perks of fame without proof.
They only do this because it is a cheap and safe way to get their names in Science papers and secure funding. And there are more than enough non-thinkers in the population to ooh and aah every time they pull this farce. America cannot survive if she doesn’t shake off all the parasites.
The climate scientists are heroic, so they should be saved first. I propose we build an Ark so they may go to Alpha Centauri and be saved.
The rest of us will have to stay behind and die horribly from the no warming.
