I would guess that those statistics are likely accurate as I live just south of Wash. state here in Oregon and have had cool summers for several years now. I don’t know what the true temps are for Oregon as a whole but I can tell you about where I live. From my observations I would say cool times are likely upon us here. Joe Bastardi has warned us we are likely to get a warm spell before fall but it looks like that will just be for the central US for now. I would like a long warm fall but I don’t know if we will get it. Life in Oregon is good and we are blessed here , for which I thank a loving God.
I lived in Kansas for many years, and I really couldn’t tell the difference between a 105° July day and a 108° July day, especially when separated by a year or more. I guess West-Coasters are just more sensitive.
