Wilmington, NC was far from the center of the storm the official observation in Wilmington received several hours with wind gusts over 60 MPH. Hatteras, North Carolina had wind gusts to near 90 miles per hour. Jacksonville, North Carolina had a gust of 94 MPH. So thanks for proving that you are an imbecile at Meteorology.
