The lack of hurricanes is not for lack of named storms!
Shouldn’t be long now. The zonal flow is setting up as is the Bermuda-Azores high pressure ridge. The current crop of candidates is a result of the MJO being in high gear. We can expect things to ramp up accordingly and the East Coast looks like it may be a favorite target.
Steve can find all kinds of references to the hurricanes that hit the NY area. They come in cycles and we may be due for a reappearance this year.
For some reason the propaganda press are not discussing this ‘unprecedented’ story.
Seems to me that the press report “bad” news with alacrity but “good” news is just the exception that proves the rule.
