Making Stuff Up In Austin

Several years out of date?

HadCrut shows 1998 as the warmest year. It has been the warmest year for the last 12 years. How is that out of date?

boils down to the way each handles missing weather data in the historical record.

If you don’t have data in the Arctic, then you don’t have data. Pretending that you do is just making stuff up. The GISS numbers are skewed by their large imaginary anomalies in the Arctic.

  1. Geezer1 says:

GISS is as pure as the wind driven snow and all others are liars? Or Giss is the only one who is able to determine the true temp values? Who died and made GISS the big dog on the block of AGW?

  2. Mike Davis says:

GISS admits that their results are estimates based on best guesses. They take temperature records from other sources and manipulate them until they get the desired results.

  3. Scarlet Pumpernickel says:

Earthquakes on the East Pacific Rise cause warming, not the LA times

  4. lance says:

Frankly I don’t believe any surface records, from any gov’t agency, so why claim any year was warmer than the other, they are all adjusted, and that, is wrong.

  5. Nobama says:

What can I say?….. Rong is wrong. I wonder how they get these folks so deeply hypnotized? Utter gullibility.

  6. Myron Mesecke says:

As a Texan and living only 70 miles north of Austin I have to say it is sad to see this going on so close to home. I’ll be glad when all this foolishness is over and we can say that Rong was wrong.

  7. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Anyone who takes the time to look into ‘global warming’ for themselves will find he is wrong. Maybe he hasn’t taken the time himself.

  8. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Why didn’t Rong talk about the Medieval Warm Period? Maybe Rong, a climate expert, doesn’t know about it.

  9. Leon Brozyna says:

Well, well, well … with imaginary numbers, all things are possible. Just wait till the ice covering Manhattan is a couple kilometers thick and GISS proclaims it the hottest year on record.

  10. R. de Haan says:

Rong Fu = Wrong Fu, please correct.
