There are Lefties, all over the world. Apocalyptic AGW, unicorns, fairy dust…and yoyos? What next! 🙂

  2. Truthseeker says:

Well the temperature goes up and down, man-made CO2 goes up and Yo-Yos go up and down.

Clearly the correct answer is Yo-Yos.

  3. au1corsair says:

Don’t forget that “Islamic scholars” blame homosexuals for global warming.

Get this for “scientific:” the moon is more important than the sun because it’s always light during the day but moonlight banishes the dark of night. I’m reminded of that every time a global warming “scientist” blabbers about the sun having zero effect on climate.

“Yo-yo” can be a person as well as a toy.

  4. Bob Campbell says:

Yes, But does anyone know if it worked!?
    That’s the important thing.

    • Bob Campbell says:

Some diligent searching found 20 reports on this and only one said it worked – 5%
3 said it didn’t work and 16 didn’t deny that it didn’t work, or 95%.
This is significant (almost 97%) and should be published.

  5. Truthseeker says:

    Steve,

Someone has beat you in the “shortest blog post that makes a good point” competition …

  6. John F. Hultquist says:

Drawing a connection between virga and a Yo-Yo – why didn’t I think of that?
My favorite, though, is to lay on a flat surface with arms and legs stretched out during a brief light rain. Then, voilĂ , you can get up and take a picture of a rain shadow.
Going back to my room now.

  7. Send Al To The Pole says:

    I choose door number 3….. The Ho-ho.

Naw, the Twinkie! They never die.

      • rah says:

Your right! They’re back! Have a box in my truck.

Keep at least 5 days worth of food and drink in my truck. Get stranded in a winter storm? No problem! Bunk heater only uses about a gallon every 10 hours to heat the cab so I can hunker down reasonably comfortably with my Kindle and DVD player for a good long time if old man winter does his worst. Survivor man’s got nothing on me! 🙂

        • Gail Combs says:

          +1
I always carry food and water even though I am not driving over 100 miles from home. (Extra coats in winter)

        • rah says:

Lucky for us both Gail that we work in places where the times when it gets cold enough to jell diesel fuel are very few and far between.

  8. ntesdorf says:

I would say the odds of drought and severe cold being caused by Yo-yos were better than the odds for CO2 causing it.

    • mjc says:

The movement of air caused by the yo-yo causes a butterfly in Brazil to flap its wings at half speed, so that causes a slight change in tropical wind patterns…

      • mjc says:

Which causes a unicorn to fart twice in a row. Which causes the CO2 fairy to release an extra dose of heat to the deep ocean. Which causes a dolphin to belch and push that heat straight to the troposphere.

  9. Toppelton Geardom says:

‘Tis a shame that the people who invented arabic numbers and al’gebra and scientific medical trials are reduced to this sort of scapegoating. I see ominous parallels with western civilization’s decay.

  10. KTM says:

No wonder Obama instructed the NASA Chief that his most important job was to make ‘Moslems’ feel good about their contributions to science. This article demonstrates their scientific prowess for all to see.
