It is never a good day if you wake up at 3am.
Going to bed at 3am on the other hand …

Went to watch the last night of races for the season at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN. Saturday night. Sprints, modifides, super stocks, and bombers on the dirt. Races were great. Always interesting at the end of the season when drivers have scores to settle. Got in at 03:00 Sunday and then got called to take a load of automobile airbag components to Detroit, MI. Departed Anderson, IN at 18:00 and got back at 05:00 on the 29th. 570 mi round trip.

Well done, Tony. I also had a great weekend. Wife and two boys stayed here for a couple of days:

It’s less than an hour down the road from where we live. I played a couple of games of golf, as well:

The course chewed me up and spat me out…but that’s the nature of the game. You either give up or your determine to get better the next time.

You didn’t say what dinner was. How can it be a good without a lump of well B-B-Q steak? 🙂

    • Gail Combs says:

It is pork that gets well BBQed, Steak is cooked medium rare on a grill with corn still in the husk wrapped in Al foil tossed on the coals.

My day was better than all of yours… It was so cold it felt hot, we drove gas guzzling SUV’s to see 2 of my friends houses… We bathed in an outdoor heated swimming pool… Flew in a CO2 spewing Corporate Jet to NY where more SUV’s took us to the march in NYC…

My buddy Al Gore … Had a great day…

Is it possible to just have the cheerleaders on and bypass the football players? I find watching sports boring, but watching cheerleaders I could get into 🙂
