Apparently, the WH log during the Bush years showed 2 visits by the IRS chief. During Obama’s first term, that same person visited over 150 times. I am far more inclined to believe Bush was looking for Jihadi terrorists, and Obama is looking for CC holders and Tea Partiers…. individuals who espouse the “terror” of Individual Liberty.
It isn’t as if we need any further reason to be repulsed by lying lawyers/politicians but this provides further reason.

“A Republican senator renewed his criticism of a government-backed program that hands out cell phones after an undercover video showed vendors helping people obtain the phones even after saying they wanted to sell them for drugs and other items.
The video was released by conservative activist James O’Keefe and his group Project Veritas. It claimed to show undercover investigators visiting Philadelphia locations for phone vendor Stand Up Wireless and locations for one other company.
In one exchange, the investigator — posing as someone who wants a free phone — asks if the phone will belong to him after he gets it.
“Whatever you want to do with it,” the worker says. The investigator floats the possibility of getting “money for heroin.” The employee responds: “Hey, I don’t judge.”

The premise is if this is THAT important they would engage skeptics. I know you could bring up a lot of things but if you had to boil it down to a few things and present it in a suit-and-tie voice, what would you say?

My apologies, I meant the skeptical blogosphere, Goddard, Watts, McIntyre etc. I’m asking too much. I can’t wrap my mind around the sheer stupidity of being told that there is no “science” on the skeptical side and that such a huge chunk of society can be brushed off. I’d love to present a list of “Here’s what we want settled!” and nail it to the doors of the Church of Holy Global Warming. Too much wishful thinking I guess. They cannot afford to engage skeptics on the science front. We’ll have to live in a society that’s willing to inflict pain on it’s citizens based on the works of Michael “Piltdown” Mann.
