Twenty Two Years Of No Actual Global Warming

RSS shows 17 years of flat temperatures, but it is worse than it seems.

In 1991, Mt Pinatubo erupted  -reducing the amount of sunlight hitting the earth’s surface. This masked three years of El Ninos, and depressed global temperatures by about half a degree from 1991 through 1994. Without the eruption’s effects, temperatures would be flat to down for the past 22 years.

I’ve never believed in the Global Warming Lies. From the 1st day I heard about it until now I’ve scoffed at the morons. Reality (such as the above chart, among many) proves the Climate Liars are utter fools. They are becoming more and more desperate as each year passes. Their lies, rhetoric, propaganda, temper tantrums, verbal abuse and threats of violence are becoming more ridiculous and childish. Even the Climate Liars have to face reality one day, though I am quite sure many of them will go their graves believing the planet is boiling to death. Some cults last forever. This may be one of them.

They’re using “extreme weather” incidents now — the opposite of climate history– knowing their past predictions haven’t borne out. But there’s always been extreme weather somewhere, and always will be. They’ll have an endless supply of emotional news cycles to exploit, knowing the average taxpayer is gullible and respects scientists (even fake ones).

And this sort of thing would continue to work if not for one stubborn effect of desensitizing. The more they try to sensationalize, the more they desensitize the populace to any crisis. At some point, even their sensationalism will no longer be effective. You can only cry “wolf’ so many times, at some point you are no longer heard.

absolutly spot on, your words should be set in stone

Chaos of nature outdoes the statisticians.
    The doom-sayers alone are bereft.

  4. Billy Liar says:

I think you’ll find that the 1982 El Chichón eruption also occurred at the time of an El Niño.

And El Chichón had a bigger effect on solar irradiation:

Without El Chichón the 1983 El Niño might have been as big as the 1998 one?

  5. Will says:

I love how idiotic you people are. I guess the draw is that it makes you feel smarter than the actual experts. You are not.

  6. Will says:

So where’s the uncertainty? As a statistician this is completely non-sense. Your claims are invalid.

    • Temperatures are running below every single climate model. I am 100% certain that the climate religion is dead.

Another comment from you without a shred of factual counterpoint to regale us with.

You claim to be a statistican and say that Steve’s posted claims are invalid, STILL you give us nothing of substance against what you complain about.

Going for a THIRD fact free comment soon? it will then be three in a row.

  7. Karl says:

Billy Liar: There was indeed a STRONG El Nino in 1982. The late Climatologist Reid Bryson of the University of Wisconsin predicted a severe winter for much of the U.S. due to the explosion of El Chichon. Of course, the historic El Nino made his forecast a bust. I never did see another forecast issued publicly from him again.

I should have attributed that first link I gave – it was done by Bill Illis who posts at WUWT. That’s what gave me the idea.
