February, 1936 saw temperature anomalies of -26ºF in Montana. The 1930s was typified by extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme drought, wind and dust.
We are now told by climate experts that this sort of extreme weather is due to man-made CO2, which was 310 ppm at the time – just barely above pre-industrial values.
