With expert data manipulation from leading climate scientists, along with a fair measure of interpolation and extrapolation, 9 degrees should be no probem at all!
Heck, the “official” reading for Washington, DC already comes in as much as 9 degrees warmer than my car thermometer, at 2 PM on a clear day. The predicted warming has already been achieved. No task is too daunting for our fabulous climate experts!
I heard the same thing 25 years ago in my high school science class. Still waiting.
Back during the big ‘sugar is evil’ kick, one of the evils that sugar was supposed to cause was impaired mental functioning…in other words stupidity. Well, sugar is a carbon compound and using the same ‘logic’ that reduces CO2 to ‘carbon’; sugar can be called ‘carbon’, too.
Therefore, ‘carbon’ causes rank stupidity…and the idiots must be forgiven, because they are just suffering ‘carbon’ poisoning. (But then again, pot smoke contains a fair amount of carbon monoxide…which is confirmed to cause mental impairment and other neurological problems including brain cell death…)

Silly me. I learned that without carbon sucrose (C12H22O11) was 11 molecules of water.
I ran across that one a while ago and nearly bust a gut laughing when I say it.
If the sugar is “carbon-free” in the econut sense of the phrase then it was produced by slave/serf labor instead of by machines.
None of these spoiled rotten idiots living in fantasy land have figured out that if you get rid of cheap energy you end up substituting animal or human labor. Since they are also Animal Rights Activists that leaves human labor.

What Domino Sucrose means is that they burn their sugar cane residue in huge industrial ovens to produce both the steam heat and electric power needed to refine cane juice into sugar. Neutral CO2 just means that they don’t have the need to burn coal, fuel oil, or Uranium to refine their product. What happens to the 11 atoms of Carbon in every molecule of sugar after it is consumed by their customers is best left to the imagination.
Now if they claimed NEGATIVE Carbon that would really be something to write home about.
