Rowers are now entering the protected, “inland” part of the NW passages. Ice is about to close both ends. Regardless, they are good sport and will strive to advance until they are blocked (and their trip is actually interesting to watch). But making it to the other end of the already-iced and growing areas is out of the equation.
Question is : they got their funding for “climate” propaganda, so they will have to spin things in a “climate” way. I’m curious to see what it is going to be…
I calculated their arrival as of today (I keep a chart at my site) as November 1st. But they would not have made it even to their planned late September arrival, as it looks like an early end to open water this year.

Algore must have stowed away on the TeamSuicide row boat for temps to be this low for the entire summer. Someone switched out Reggie’s Blowtorch o’ Doom fuel with, cosmically ironically, CO2 from a fire extinguisher.
So global warming caused it to be really cold up there this summer, right?
I would have believed the deep ocean story more if they had been saying it when the surface temperatures were rising. “We don’t have an explanation and it’s a travesty that we don’t.” Now we have an explanation and it’s a travesty that we do, because we have thin data being tortured and no mechanism being proposed. But hey, surface temperatures aren’t that interesting anyway, especially since they’re not going up.
I’ve been thinking about Senator Pelosi’s thing about you don’t believe in global warming, just look at all the forest fires. So I’m thinking she either believes what she’s saying, which means she’s stupid, or she doesn’t believe it, which means she’s a liar.
That’s a quandary I frequently wrestle with–are they really that stupid, or are they really that evil?
Now, the drones like we’ve seen over at the Huffing&Puffing, we know they don’t have a clue.

Gee, isn’t CO2 the primary ingredient for “HOT” ice? It is so cold that it’ll burn you. Is that how the alarmist come up with temperatures that are to cold enough to melt ice?
For heat to slip away and hide at the bottom of the sea, the missing heat would have to violate the principle that heat is attracted to cold but that heat also rises? I have used heat sinks many times but I still don’t know how to construct a sink to trap cold. I am waiting for an explanation on how to get cold temps to circle the drain..

The rather odiferous rowers look to be 1/6 of the way through their trip and the other 5/6th’s should be an amazing journey:)

Besides watching the above graph, you should watch the DMI polar temperature map. As the graph goes down you can see, on the map, the area of sub-freezing temperatures grow and spread. http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/weather/arcticweather.uk.php
For the life of me I can’t figure out the scientific roots for the current cold, but it sure is happening. Between 0z on the 15th and 12z on the 16th the DMI map shows roughly half the Arctic Ocean going from above freezing to below freezing.

Hello Mark, Yes I’m throwing some dart up in the air,see what lands.I live in or on the big island and for over two years it COLD! yes,it might be co2,no sun spots,less output from the sun,maybe the world is getting farther from the sun?but somebig is happening? i don’t what?but it is life changing!plus 3 cores,with words like shine ,proton beams, gamma rays and others?tepco will not tell the truth,hope they can fix things soon!and last if this is a new ice age what cause it…Thanks
