One of their supporters says an arctic hurricane is forecast to bring them a good “tail” wind.
I recommend they “turn tail” instead.
That would be very smart to take a rowboat out in a hurricane.
Is a device a rowboat if it cannot be rowed under routine weather conditions?
I think of the Arctic Joule more as a small galleon, minus the masts, rudder, and keel. And of course, made of fiberglass; that’s an important difference.

Helicopters don’t mind strong, gusty winds – high wing (blade) loading = low gust response.
Imagine the warmists propaganda if a storm does to the ice this year what last year’s storm did.
Last year there was almost no ice in the Beaufort Sea and the water was warm. This year there is a lot of ice and the water is cold.
Notwithstanding, any significant storm related loss in sea ice is sure to be attributed by warmists to “climate change,” with merely a passing, if any, reference made to any storm(s).
