Dangerous drought conditions have set in. If that little rain was received every week, the total precipitation for the year would be less than 400 inches.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Go east, young man! A frontal line of showers is not only alleviating the heat and drought in the south, it is likely to set up conditions to generate some tropical cyclone activity in the GoM and to the east of Florida. There is a new system trying to get started off Cancun, as well.
Let the cries of catastrophism commence!
Some places are getting rain and others getting none. That has to be result of global weirding!
Or geography.
Geography!!!!!!
I am really worried because I have nor received measurable precipitation for over 48 hours and this is the second day with clear skies. This droughtflood / flooddrought condition is worrysome! 😉
I might have to wait another day to get more rain.
