At a glance it appears to be variable weather patterns are experienced in Oklahoma just like every where else on the planet. Those nasty Oklahoma Republicans are mimicking the rest of the world to look like they have normal weather.
Someone Cherry Picked the historic Summer temperatures in answer to someone else that Cherry Picked the weather this Summer in an attempt to make things look bad.
Sone of these temperatures today were ridiculous, like 108 in downtown Baltimore and 108 in Newark. Makes you wonder if someone is playing games. Meanwhile DCA was only 102. Normally, you don’t get such large temperature variations with a homogenous airmass during the summer.
Hey Andy! Location, location, location. The Weather Underground has pages that show multiple live weather station readings in most large US cities and it is common to find differences of up to 10F only a few miles apart. A tree shaded neighborhood is a world away from the airport, in terms of climate. I live in the country on acreage and can have 5F degree diferences on my own property. This is just one more reason why claiming to be able to measure the planet’s average temperature to within tenths of a degree is laughable.
