Ninety degree days in the midwest occur only half as often as they did in the 19th century.

Experts say that hot weather is increasing in the Midwest, because their funding depends on lying about the climate.

Let us not forget the Wimbledon Climate Change Heatwave !

    Thursday 21°C
    Friday 25°C
    Saturday 23°C
    Sunday 20°C
    Monday 22°C

Get ready for another heatwave! Temperatures to soar across Britain just in time for the weekend – but a blast of chilly Arctic air will freeze the country tonight.

(Some beautiful pictures and don’t forget to read the comments.)

  4. here in Western Wisconsin, so far in July we are averaging -9.875F degrees lower than normal low + set a record low on JUL 1 +++ are averaging -5.5F degrees lower than the normal high; we have had a delightful Summer so far; only one 90+F day on JUN 9 when we got up to 91F for 11 secs before it slipped back into the 80sF

Compare that to 1936, when you were 105-115 degrees for days on end, the actual temperature, not the heat index!

As someone who has lived in Wisconsin all his life (25 years) I have definitely noticed the colder summers. Yes, you could argue that the lakes have been colder in recent years thus keeping the area cooler, but this is a product of colder winters coupled with colder summers so that they don’t warm up quite like they used to. If this keeps up, another brutal winter will be on it’s way regardless of the status of the El Nino. It just may mean we have brutal cold mixed with tons of snow which even for people who are used to it can be a crippling combination.

Joe Bastardi has been predicting another tough winter for the NE and Midwest. And it sure is looking like he’s going to be right.
