I Predict Final Collapse Of The Global Warming Scam Within Four Years

Arctic expert predicts final collapse of sea ice within four years | Environment | guardian.co.uk

Antarctica currently has the most sea ice ever recorded for the date, which is 17,000 Manhattans larger than the greatest amount of sea ice ever recorded in the Arctic. Most geographers actually consider the southern hemisphere to be part of the globe.

In 2007, Wadhams made the identical prediction for 2012/2013. Perhaps he is facing the final collapse of his funding?

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Arctic summers ice-free ‘by 2013’

Since I started writing this post, six new Manhattans of ice have formed in the Arctic.

  1. Andy DC says:

If you have enough icebreakers, Arctic storms and fraudulent satellite readings, the Arctic ice can be anything you want it to be.

  2. GW says:

More frightening still, is the knowledge that Peter Wadhams is employed by (or worse still, was trained by) our premier naval institute. It makes me fearful of the integrity, credibility and intelligence of the rest of the military trained scientists (and perhaps officers . . . . .)

    • He is actually a professor at Cambridge, which at one time was considered a great academic institution.

      • GW says:

        Like (pre-20th century) Harvard ………..

But still, if our military is paying for (and believing) this nonsense. . . . . OMG

      • Andy OZ says:

“So let it be written. So let it be done” – Yul Brynner, 12 Commandments.
They’ve written that the Arctic is ice free. QED – It must be true.
We must all repent from our wicked skeptic ways.

Question: Australia just had one of the coldest winters on record (three month average with albeit only 150 years of data). Could Peter Wadhams “Please Explain?”

  3. Jimbo says:

We should have had an ice-free Arctic this year as he said that “2013 is already too conservative.” FAIL and FAIL next summer. As for ‘global disaster’ why would an ice-free Arctic be a global disaster? It hasn’t been a disaster in the past

“Ancient Eskimo Village Discovered Thanks to Depleting Arctic Ice Caps”

I wonder what the ice cover was like in the Arctic 500 years ago. 😉

    • Jimbo says:

“It’s preserved by permafrost, and the permafrost is melting due to climate change. As it melts, it exposes the very soft soil to marine erosion: the shoreline retreats and the sites get damaged,” explained Dr Knecht, who has been working in Alaska for more than 30 years.

It must have been balmy 500 year back.

      • johnmcguire says:

If you think Alaska mosquitoes are bad now , just think what they would have been like back then . Big enough to carry off babies and small children haha .

      • Shooter says:

Too bad the permafrost isn’t as bad as we thought. They whined about permafrost melting in Siberia. I guess Commies are the cause of climate change?

  5. gator69 says:

How many squared heads constitutes a ‘final collapse’?

  6. Karl says:

I predict that in 5 years, Wadhams will repeat his prediction another time.

    • klem says:

Sadly this is likely true. Religions carry on for centuiries.

      • Ilma630 says:

I would refer to the AGW scam more as a cult than a religion. True religions are open and honest, willing to debate, be mocked and criticised (except Islam of course) but persuade rather than insult and ridicule. AGW is secretive (e.g. Mike Mann), intolerant and disingenuous at best.

  7. The mother ship will return in exactly twelve years from today between midnight and noon. If it doesn’t happen, add twelve more years to the prediction. Rinse and repeat until the mother ship actually does arrive. Then you can claim you are an infallible prophet. All you have to do is forget the many times your prophecy failed to come true.

Interestingly, the ability to forget predictions that don’t come true seems to be a major value these days – especially when it comes to weather and climate. It is worth $Billions piled upon $Billions to far too many people and institutions.

As always: “Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future. ” Niels Bohr (1885 – 1962)

  8. leftinbrooklyn says:

But unfortunately, I bet a few Warmists survive under the rubble, crying for rescue ($). Entitlements never seem to go away.

“I Predict Final Collapse Of The Global Warming Scam Within Four Years”

I think by the standards of “ice-free” the CAGW nonsense has already collapsed.

  10. TheDoctor says:

Let’s make a bargain. Let these buffoons make this claim for the next 4 years, but if (WHEN) it does not happen they must accept permanent exile to Iceland.

  11. kirkmyers says:

The AGW alarmists will peddle their pet theory until the bitter end — or until the weather turns bitterly cold, making it impossible to defend the indefensible without looking like delusional crackpots. (It may be too late to avoid such appearances.)

The Warmists already are circling the wagons and smearing anyone who questions the AGW doctrine. There are huge sums of money at stake, and there are reputations and egos that are threatened. Expect to see even more vitriol and nastiness as the “climate change” scare story comes apart at the seams.

The science is on the side of the skeptics, and the climate modelers know it.

  12. philjourdan says:

It will not. They will just move the goal posts again.

Dramatic preview of the Starship Progress adventure:

    • Paul in Sweden says:

There is already much thought to resolving this problem: Scientist: “I’m concerned that the stars are using up hydrogen nuclei at an unsustainable rate. If I was a sufficiently advanced civilisation I might want to do something about this, so that the hydrogen could be burnt in fusion reactors instead. That way, a much higher proportion of the available energy could be put to some use before it eventually becomes thermal radiation.”

  14. Laurence Crossen says:

I do not think it will end that soon with the NCSE involved. Only after the nuclear renaissance is well underway…

  15. ganesha says:

What we may never see is the final prediction of final collapse 😉
