Our friends used to be obsessed with the record highs to record lows ratio, until it went south. The ratio of record lows to record highs is almost 4:1 over the last three days.

    I have to disagree. I think we are seeing an unprecedented number of record lows coming from the alarmists of late.

    I see the official stats have Oregon with record highs lately . Yet here 25 some miles west of Portland and 40 some miles east of the coast we have been having an average summer, temp wise ; we have enjoyed a dryer summer than many years though and it has been a blessing for fruit production .

    “Our friends” are right on schedule too. Their three month busy season during the NH Summer Solstice to Equinox has just ended.

    You see, their species: Homo Alarmus Propagandus has something in common with Ursus Americanus. They both utilize hibernation during the peak of winter to conserve energy and await more favorable climate conditions that suit their particular agenda.

    Come spring they wake up, squeeze out their fecal plug and continue on their way, or in the case of the climate alarmist their mouth plug and proceed to babble incessantly about the shocking return of cyclic warmth.

    Sheffield got to about 50F today, about 10F below normal.

  6. I hope crops weren’t damaged in this cold. It’s only September. Still more harvesting to go.
