Rises to 25 Degrees Above Zero
Warmth Appreciated by Expedition

“Little America -This polar community has entered upon the 14th day of what, for want of a better equivalent might be called the hottest winter heat wave in the memory of the oldest inhabitants. At 8 a.m. the temperature soared to 25deg above zero notwithstanding a blizzard and thudding soft moist snow which was almost like rain.”
