WIMPS! They want to play sled drivers but want perfect weather.
Of course I tend to think it is brutal for the animals and animals should not be used in any competitive sport. If these guys want to race sleds then they should pull the sleds them selves.
I do not belong to PETA but think animal sports are cruel and unusual punishment for the animals.
I would not have pets for almost 30 years as I felt it was not fair to the animals to be restrained. I now have 3 dogs and 5 cats, 72 acres for them to roam and I spend most of my time with them. They were all rescued from shelters!
I also raise chicken for eggs and chicken dinners!
Those home raised eggs are sooooo good! 🙂 🙂
The temperature cutoff for Challenge Series races is –25°F or below, as per their rules.

The major races like Yukon Quest and the Iditarod don’t have a cutoff and it gets colder on those races.
