Interesting. When the rumors first came out about Tipper and Big Al splitting up, my first thought was family wealth preservation. She could sell her share of the carbon market stuff before the bubble bursts. But Al is stuck with it. After the market correction, they could get together again and share the remaining wealth.
But now that he has a new romantic interest in his life, I’m not so sure about my original speculation. With a new GF in the picture, Tipper would be less willing to share, assuming that this was the original plan. Sometimes things really are as simple as they appear to be.
