I posted this picture in March of the ski hill at Los Alamos, which I took on a hike that week. Reports are now that portions of the ski hill are burning.

Sure looks like a lot of dead trees between the ski runs! No wonder it’s on fire.
Those are deciduous trees which hadn’t leafed out yet. They aren’t dead.
Looks like plenty of fuel to me also. It is past time for the burn.
