The bottom of the Grand Canyon is usually about 40F warmer than the top. There must be a lot more CO2 down there.

It figures, CO2 being denser than air. Fair enough, that Grand Canyon thing will be consensual.
I will admit to making such a leap over a 600-foot drop on the Lehigh River in PA, but this guy is totally Nuts!
Well you know actually there is. Not as a gas mind you but as carbonate rock. Think about those 700 million year old sedimentary rocks that precipitated out of warm shallow seas when someone talks about carbon sequestration.
