   I do a lot of gardening here in southern alberta….keep a tally of key dates of flowering dates etc.
   Last year, march 12th, I noted that the last of the ice/snow by the hedge near the drain is gone (usually the last area).

   this year and currently, there is over a foot of ice still and a ton of snow in my yard…..

   i’m thinking flowering dates this year will be a ‘bit’ delayed…
