I thought that diplomats from friendly countries are shown more respect than citizens are. I guess this shows all peons are treated alike. It is good they do not show signs of discrimination or profiling.

BTW, the TSA has said that this was not a mistake and that all foreign diplomats and other dignitaries (like the Pakistani generals who had been invited to the Pentagon to discuss terrorism, but decided to return home after also receiving this insulting treatment) are liable to be publicly groped and humiliated like this. The only people who are exempt, in fact, are the US government, senators, congressmen, their families and entourages. It all kind of reminds me of another empire that grew so arrogant that it had to fall.
Diplomatic Passports were supposed to have some meaning!! This is a failure of the entire Homeland Security Agency and shows a need to rethink how they should proceed with their mission to protect the country. Now they are a disgrace and more of a hindrance than a protection from terrorists.

If Van Jones was picked for a position in our government along with the other core of Presidential advisers that are there now I would not expect any qualified person to be nominated for any position in the current government.
