Everything, we are told over and over, is consistent with global warming.

Why is it so cold in Antartica? Are the penguins going to freeze? Is it all our fault?
The sun has been quiet for years—quieter than almost all predicted.
The energy coming from the sun and hitting the earth makes for auroras at the Poles. More energy in the system from the sun sent to the Poles would seem to cause warming there. Less cools. But that’s a layman’s interpretation. If Lief were here I’m sure he’d try to gut me like a werewolf gutting its victim. But I am sure the energy from the sun effects earth’s climate. How can it not?
