Understanding The Difference Between Cherry Picking And Climate

Sixteen years ago, the 1998 El Nino was climate.Screenshot 2016-03-02 at 10.37.31 AM

But that has all changed. The 1998 El Nino is now cherry picking, and the 2016 El Nino is climate.

What a shock! In 1998 the “company” line was you cannot conflate weather with climate to advance the political science of CAGW Somewhere, after a decade or more of hiatus, the dialogue shifted to: we really meant Climate Change as evidenced by severe WEATHER not global warming. then the President chose to shift it back to global warming and directed the Government Bureacracy NOAA to revise history to rally the Warmists in Paris. Now weather and climate go hand in hand. If it is bad it is Mans’ fault. Oh my! not only do they think the masses stupid but memory challenged.

Good one Steven. And they can keep a straight face too. Their tools that post on internet sites lap it all up and regurgitate the latest BS.

I might add that RSS has now been “adjusted” to V4. Its been Karllised. !!

Look at that, it took 36 years to get .3 degrees, and one day to get .2 more. They know with the likely La Niña coming that .2 or more may go away.

This is why we need “climate experts”! They are like the psychic mediums of the non-scientific world. Only they can discern climate from weather, by communicating with dead hypotheses.

  5. Andy DC says:

1979 was the ultimate cherry pick for alarmists, being perhaps the coldest year on record.

  6. I remembered your this article https://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2015/03/27/collusion-is-independence/ for having taken place this time.

Thanks for reminding me Kiyra. I just posted this at WUWT…
Over one year ago Steven Goddard, AKA Tony Heller, called this…
“Enron accountants would blush at these tactics. Look for the satellite data to be adjusted to bring it into compliance with the fully fraudulent surface temperatures. The Guardian is now working to discredit UAH, so it seems likely that RSS will soon be making big changes – to match the needs of the climate mafia. Bookmark this post.”
Sometimes S.G. may rub some the wrong way, but he is pulling all skeptics towards understanding the “fr..d word.

Tony, unfortunately I can ill afford to financially support you, but I do my small part to spread your work.

Thanks for reminding me KIRYE. (fixed, apologies)
