Mississippi records show the 1960’s-70’s cold period quite well. Another place that has missed global warming.
We need to put a lot more CO2 into the atmosphere in order to experience a world free of blizzards, floods and tornadoes. It must be poured into the atmosphere right away!! Drill baby, drill!!
As readers here should already know, any single event can’t be said to not come from global warming. The recent floods along rivers are due to weather in other areas.
You may want to go to Grist and tell them that.

You simply can’t win with these people. Too little snow they complain, too much flood they complain, too little rain they complain. Most of the Kool Aid drinkers think that weather should be just normal. Goldilock – not too hot, not too cold, just right.
well, haven’t our betters already warned us that global warming would mean more snow if it actually did snow? Get with the program already.
Why would anyone be interested in weather if it was always the same (perfect). It is the extreme events that makes weather fascinating to follow.
