   The net effect of China’s “action” is an increase of about 1.1 Gt CO2 per year by 2015. Of course, that’s something Combet won’t tell you.

   One assumes that the Minister is aware that Australia exports an increasingly vast amount of coal to China – a country that already burns nearly 50% of World production. Surely in order to avoid be labelled as a hypocrite the least he can do is fight for the closure of the Aussie coal industry.
