    Ha! Sounds like an excellent idea. Restore a park. I’m being serious.

    And they are funding the restoration by throwing in the word `climate change’. It is a great idea to get funding. The various groups are to stunned to fund an excellent initiative without the `climate change’ publicity.

    Sad but true.

    But all of London already IS a climate change park. It is not even controversial that the “urban heat island” effect for major cities provides a multiple-degree warming compared to the countryside, of comparable magnitude to the “consensus” projected 21st century warming.
