How long until they start claiming the thermometers are wrong………
Wasn’t last March the hottest March evah? What a difference a year makes.
And with a net neutral feedback system, the difference between last year and this year (but in the opposite direction) will be the roughly the entirety of the warming for the rest of the century. Assuming that the radiative transfer models are right and reasonable CO2 concentration increases at least. 😉
Given that, we might expect a La Nina year to compare (in “global temp”) to last year’s El Nino year in 50 years or more…

I’m betting all my quatloos on -.075C.
I stated roughly a week ago that I thought we’d see if fall between 1997 and 2008 for March…I’ll stick with that.
