We do need a change. The question is who would do any better. The 2 political parties as currently constituted do not seem to provide many answers.
It’s so obvious. All we need is for Americans to take seriously the Constitutional requirement that the President must be born of two American citizens (naturalized or born in the U.S.), be a Natural Born Citizen and Take Action. This supremely important issue has nothing to do with a “birth certificate” (does he or doesn’t he?) or any “birther”(where was he born, Hawaii? Washington State? Kenya?) matters. These are red herrings, as interesting as they are. Relieving him of his office (not by resignation or impeachment, but by law) is “the change we have waiting for”. It is blindly clear that he wishes everything about the U.S. ill.
Sigh, that would be correct, if the constitution did indeed require birth of 2 American citizens. It doesn’t. Go back and read the constitution. Then read the applicable judicial precedents. Then check the preconceived definition to the real definition.
IT DOESN’T MATTER IS O’BUMMER WAS BORN IN HAWAII OR NOT!!
THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT OF BEING BORN OF 2 U.S. CITIZENS.

I don’t think the Obama citizenship issue is going anywhere. He is ours until January 2013. We can hope for better after that, but looking at the list of prospective candidates, it’s hard to get very excited. These two parties have not served us well.
The problem is that the necessary 3rd party would be pooled mostly from repubs. So, it would be a short term lose, and the fickle people of the U.S. don’t seem to have the patience to see long term gain.
It is increasingly apparent that neither party is very representative of the common persons’ interests. Nor does either work toward the common good for the people.
Notice how the JackAssociated Press left out the quote marks on that line. I so wanted to grab it as an exact quote! It’s a killer.
Hopefully the challengers will find it or similar with audio and give it to him on primetime TV during a debate.
