For better or for worse, humans need to do both!

  2. TinyCO2 says:

Anyone with a dust mite allergy knows all about how impossible it is to keep the crap out of the air you breath. The little buggers are discharging all over the place, especially in bed with you. Perhaps Romm should start small and get that problem under his belt before he tries to regulate breathing.

  3. Beano says:

Interesting the use of your image.
This scare trip nonsense from Australia

  4. ChrisD says:

He doesn’t “equiviocate” breathing and defecating, he’s simply pointing out that both of them are animal emissions, and that the latter is pretty commonly regulated to some extent, presumably even in Texas. He’s just showing how utterly ridiculous the AG’s statement actually is.

Apparently the AG thinks that pooper scooper laws in cities are “absurd.” And that people should be allowed to crap anywhere they want, including on the street in front of his house.

    • More crap coming out the mouth. Literally.

    • Anything is possible says:

And that people should be allowed to crap anywhere they want, including on the street in front of his house.

All the people I know can be trusted not to do this, WITHOUT the need for regulation….

I can’t speak for the company you keep, though.

    • truthsword says:

Okay, I find it terribly amusing that not only did he “equiviocate” breathing and defecating, but ChrisD just did trying to say he didn’t… ChrisD you must understand that you just equivocated the two. The problem is fecal matter provides a real and tangible health risk. Exhaling CO2 does not. It isn’t even remotely sane on any level to even try to say it is even similar. It defies intellect so horribly that I can’t even fathom the desperate fearful logic of a failing mind that would even imply such a thing.

      • ChrisD says:

Missed the point, eh? Let’s try again.

The AG made the statement that it’s “height of insanity” to try to regulate “something that is emitted by all living beings.” He did not qualify this in any way, as you are. If it’s emitted by living things, it’s insanity to regulate it, period.

Romm was simply pointing out that we’ve been doing exactly that for a very long time, which makes the AG’s statement very, very stupid, unless he believes that laws and regulations relating to sewage and such are also insane.

      • ChrisD says:

Yeah, that was my response to your post, too. Glad you agree.

        • Invent a CO2 toilet, and wear it on your face all times of day when you breathe. Send one over to Romm too (and anyone else too stupid to understand what the Congressman was saying.)

      • ChrisD says:

Frankly, it would be better used by anyone too stupid to understand what Romm was saying.

      • ChrisD says:

Hehe, no, but you certainly are.

And so is the AG, who thinks that emitting carbon that’s been buried in the ground for millions of years is the same thing as exhaling carbon from plants that died last week…

      • ChrisD says:

You’re either the thickest or the most disingenuous blogger on the planet. It’s hard to know which. Maybe it’s both.

      • ChrisD says:

        Definitely both.

      • BioBob says:

You two should get a room !

    • Justa Joe says:

Chris, are you suggesting that fecal matter and exhaled CO2 are equivalent health risks?

      • ChrisD says:

Chris, are you suggesting that fecal matter and exhaled CO2 are equivalent health risks?

No. I neither said nor suggested that.

  5. Nobama says:

Is it just me, or have the Warmonauts achieved an all new level of insanity? It was always obvious, but this last 6 months are on an entirely new level of stoopid. Maybe Romm is just admitting his breath smells like sheet?

Hmmm……the Idiot is back. just a clue, but one is “emitted” and the other is “excreted”. Which means one is completely involuntary, and the other you have control over.

Last I checked, I did not emit a load, I excreted it. But then you may just be emitting it all over the place – like a seagull manager.

    • ChrisD says:

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the total lack of any sense of logic or reason shown here, at the depths to which you guys will sink, the minutiae you will unearth, in defense of the indefensible. With apologies to the Harvard Lampoon, anyone in possession of a mere moiety of his marbles will have instantly discerned the abject stupidity and ignorance revealed by the AG’s remark–yet here you are, sputtering about the difference between “emitting” and “excreting.”

      Hmm.

      OK, I’ve decided to laugh.

      Toodle-oo.

      • Chris, the fact that you are moron is not a reflection on anyone else. Breathing is not the in the same category as shitting, unless your head is firmly up your ass.

      • Is it difficult being “anal retentive literal” and never understanding what is going on around you?

      • BioBob says:

well, they ARE both products of living organisms – but CO2 output continues to entropic zero while shit formation and output stops almost immediately, subsuming into the entropic category.

Minutae unearthed? You must have a hell of a constipation problem (affecting the brain as well) if you do not know the difference between excreting and exhaling. But then considering you do not even remember what you wrote, I guess I can see where some got the expression – Sh*t for brains.
