No they don’t generate much (if any) electricity. In fact they’ve learnt from past mistakes so now they use-up electricity from the grid to move the blades so as they don’t freeze up in the cold.
High Pressure area = NO WIND
When do you need power most:
When it’s hot for cooling
When it’s cold for heating
Better throw the money in a pit than spend it on wind power.
