Texas temperatures have been declining over the past century
But NOAA massively tampers with the data to make it look like Texas is warming
Much of their justification is theoretically based on Time of Observation Bias (TOBS) adjustments, claiming that people during the 1930’s reset their thermometers during the afternoon, causing double counting of hot days.
That theory is easy to test out. The graph below uses only those stations which reset their thermometers at night or morning during July 1936. As you can see, it is almost identical to the top graph for all Texas stations. TOBS has almost no effect on Texas temperatures.
TOBS adjustments are just one more excuse to tamper with data.
The root problem is Stalin’s control of:
1. Japan’s successful atomic bomb plant at Konan, Korea in Aug 1945, and
2. The American crew of a B29 bomber held for negotiations in Aug-Sept 1945
to unite nations and national academies of sciences (NAS) on 24 Oct 1945, as George Orwell realized when he moved from London to the Scottish Isle of Jura in 1946 to start writing our future in “Nineteen Eighty-Four!
That actually has nothing to do with TOBS adjustments.

Do you really think people were so stupid that they would double count the same maximum temperature? I can imagine agenda crazed NOAA people being slimy enough to do that, but not an honest Iowa farmer back in 1936. Is there any hard evidence of that happening?

Carbon brief is all happy that coal plants are being shelved but still 1,093 gw planned. They say only 1999 gw of new capacity is allowed in order to not go over 2 degrees. Its amazing how the 2 degree is now dogma even though it was pulled out of thin air. There is no basis for it and apparently it was just said in passing by some scientist. Shows just how crooked they are, a bunch of fanatics at the Sierra Club keeps working to stop coal.
It has to be history’s worst scam and makes Ponzi schemes look like childs play.
