Are we really supposed to believe that Oklahomans would be indifferent between a nuclear blast and a tornado? Seriously?
Maybe someone should drop a 10 megaton hydrogen bomb on Oklahoma to see what is worse. I don’t think it would be a very close contest.

I lived in Southern Nevada while all the testing was going on,both above and below ground.
In the early 1970s, The Guardian did a story on Los Alamos, and said that it was the site of the first atomic bomb test.
I was living there at the time, and couldn’t see any indication of recent nuclear blasts.
People would drive north on 95 to watch the above ground tests!
