I don’t think it’s ridiculous to think that vulgar, violent video games, movies, etc. have something to do with the violence and brutality with which too many people behave. Did you see Pulp Fiction? It can’t be healthy to watch or play such filth. It’s “feeding the wrong dog.”
But I suspect that the fact that 1/4 of American babies die by “choice” has a much greater brutalizing influence on our youth.

Violence was committed long before video games, and no I don’t think we should ban books or movies or games.

Unfortunately the NRA leadership signs up to the same kind of nonsense, which greatly diminished my respect for them and hurt their ability to be a voice of reason in the public debate.
