Denier Arctic To Be Prosecuted For Hate Crimes

Do not look at the following graph. This is the work of a racist, homophobic Gaia.

Fortunately we have fine journalists at the New York Times and the Washington Post who (on the 40th anniversary of Nixon’s resignation) understand that the truth must be suppressed.

The day I returned from Germany.

  2. Steve Case says:

I remember the weather in Milwaukee that evening, high sunlit thunder heads out over the lake front bathed in light from the setting sun gave a peach colored glow to the city below.

    Beautiful! 🙂
Now let’s see when the other indices/analyzes/estimates will have the *courage* to show the same. DMI is giving a good example in this respect because they’re just showing the numbers of their daily observations.
They’re not pushing any agenda, but leaving the analysis and conclusions, and the consequences of both, to the viewer.
OTOH, even cryosphere is showing the ice anomaly now above the same period of 2013, the lower levels of last year are clearly *below* the present lower levels,
but still the anomaly is close to 1 million negative- similar to DMI’s anomaly for 2013 (from the DMI graph: the difference between the 2013 and the average curve).

Dmh for an ignorant one– What does OTOH mean?

I believe it’s Internet Speak for “On The Other Hand” so that people that type with their thumbs on numeric keypads can save 13 (or more) button pushes.

Some of us have Arthur -T- Ritus as a guest on hand, as well as no typing skills.

        • philjourdan says:

Or pinched nerves in the elbow (that is why you will often see me drop capitals).

        • nielszoo says:

I refuse to attempt to type anything on a DTMF keypad and presbyopia keeps me from even trying to read on a screen half the size of an index card. I tell my colleagues that any text message sent to me will be ignored… which perpetuates my ignorance of these literary lop offs… unless, like this one, I can figure them out from context.

        • Gail Combs says:

“…I tell my colleagues that any text message sent to me will be ignored…”

We tell our customers the same. e-mail or phone only.

At least with a regular computer screen you can zoom to 2X and on for critical written material I keep a magnifying glass handy. Threading a needle??? I still haven’t figured out how I do it successfully these days since I can barely see the darn needle. Must be muscle memory.

        • Dmh says:

Yes, I’ve seen Anthony Watts use it frequently and I’m presuming it’s common use in the blogosphere. 🙂

        • There Is No Substitute for Victory. says:

I type using the Columbus method. I wonder around looking for a key and when I discover the key I’m looking for I land on it like Christopher Columbus did. (wink-wink)

      • cdquarles says:

That’s the acronym for On the Other Hand. It predates the internet :). Still, what about the third hand?

    • mjc says:

Threading needles…that’s what kids (or grandkids are for). I learned to sew, at age 5, because I became my grandmother’s official needle-threader.

    Nudge, nudge, say no more.

  5. Traitor in Chief says:

You forgot “war on women” and a sexual slur about tea.
