Phil said winter was over.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

I have read somewhere that his predictions are about 35% accurate. A great batting average or 3 point percentage.
Yes, and that’s much better than Hansonus Rodenticus, who’s average is 0.0% . It’s all about perspective
😉
Actually that study included the whole US in regards to Phil’s predictions, when you look at only local weather the accuracy is a little over 70%. Depends on whether you are taking a serious look. There are several prognosticating groundhogs all around the country, seemed silly someone made a study for one groundhog with national data. Sounds like something AGW people would do.
Truthsword,
Very good point!
I think you can safely extrapolate over a 1200 km radius….if you are a climate scientist.
He’s not used to heat-caused cold. Groundhogs evolved when cold was caused by cold.
It’s easy to understand how a rodent could be foiled by all that heat trapping gas causing so much cold.
don’t tell me…… Phil’s got a research grant now? Or maybe he just smelled the stench of Climate Science and thought his ragweed allergies were bothering him…
He got a degree in climatology over winter.
