Highest average doesn’t mean highest peak. The peak was 110 years ago in Death Valley, and it hasnt been hotter anywhere, even there, since then !
When they warn us it’s going to get hotter, they just mean that the averagw for some places will increase.
The average can increase for a long time and still the hottest can be 110 uears ago.
Not every mind can appreciate the subtlwty of hottest and average
