Wind, Solar & Hydro are not just cheap, they are FREE; just like Coal, Oil, Gas & Uranium.
The cost comes in converting the ‘Free Stuff’ into controllable, reliable useful energy, Wind & Solar don’t cut the mustard & never can.
I’m sick of the loes.
As more and more renewables were installed during the past 20 years the cost to domestic customers jas continued to increase.
However, the wholesale market price of electricity leeps going down, so when they say renewables are cheaper they’re talking about the cost to the industry, not the consumer.
Yet the consumers paid tax which gave subsidies to make the wholesale price low.
When, if ever, will the consumer benefit ?
