Colorless, Odorless CO2

The Associated Press has determined that shadows behind water vapor are actually dark, dirty CO2.

New EPA rules would force plants to capture emissions, shut down | AP News

Here is what that facility looks like in daylight.

Fraudsters!!! Making water vapor look evil. Just like some decades ago when NBC Dateline rigged a Chevy pickup to explode in a crash by planting a small explosive near the fuel tanks!! Real fake investigative reporting then and now!

Funny. I worked in the oil business as an engineer for 50 years. In Bakersfield, CA there is the Kern River oil field, for many years the biggest steamflood oil producing field in the world, producing over 100bopd. In that process, steam is injected in the ground, ‘melting’ the thick crude oil so it will flow to producing wells. We operated oil fired steam generators, burning about 25% of our production to get the rest to market. We operated stack gas scrubbers that removed virtually all the SO2 gas in the plume, emitting very clean gas and steam from water evaporated in the scrubbing process. Systems were monitored religiously by regulators and we for sure ser not polluting the environment or someone would have gone to jail!

Funny part is the local TV news stations had stock footage of the very clean steam coming off our generator stacks that they used to promote air pollution stories proving how evil the oil business is.

      • That sounds about right. Obama when he was president was posting those pictures of steam which were taken at dusk so the setting sun was on the other side, making the steam look black, on my facebook. I blocked Obama on my facebook.

  2. Under Obama the EPA was after the coal-fired power plants because they might emit mercury at levels high enough to possibly harm the fetus of a pregnant woman who ate fish daily from the most polluted rivers in the USA — the assumption being that the coal-fired power plants were responsible for all mercury in those rivers. There were years and years of mercury precipitation maps generated by a mid-west university that showed no downwind mercury precipitation whatsoever from the biggest clusters of coal-fired power plants compared to natural source mercury. Erosion of cinnabar deposits and forest fires were the overwhelming cause of mercury in the environment in most of the country, particularly from the cinnabar in the southern Sierra and southern Rocky Mountains and downstream and downwind from them. No advice to leave those areas during pregnancy was offered. Any weapon at hand is to be used brutally in support of the failed hypothesis of catastrophic man-made global warming.
