Let me explain. My screenshot shows notification of a failure in the feed of SSMIS data used by the OSI SAF to calculate their “sea ice index”. It is dated September 11th 2024.
My (invisible!) graph shows sea ice growth during the time period Sept 2 – 21 in various years using JAXA AMSR2 data, which was not similarly afflicted.
