Hmmm lets see. Warmer oceans and warmer air means that there is more water vapor going into the air. You may have heard that what goes up, must come down. And if it comes down at the polls it will come down as snow which compacts to ice.

Sea ice is frozen sea water. It is caused by cold temperatures. It has nothing to do with snow. Your IQ is double digit. Phenomena is plural.
