NASA has since erased this cooling, which scientists had agreed upon.

It is comical to hear the alarmists deny there was a period of cooling between 1940 and 1980 when it is so well documented.

  2. DD More says:

Yes the global cooling scare, where now the temperature in 1974 had never been lower than 1970. It used to be 1965.

AAAS, the same organization that is only 8% Republican, and now blames man for CACC.

    • Eric Simpson says:

Wow. And I’ll bet if you corrected ideology, there would no consensus at all on climate change. Liberal scientists believe or say they believe the bs, with conservative scientists not believing.

      A couple of links:

Why Aren’t There Any Republican Scientists? The Answer May Not Be So Complicated
      ~
Only 10% of Republicans accept that climate change is human-caused

Now I actually think other polls show that that 10% figure to be more like 20 to 25%.

    • Eric Simpson says:

The first link I gave: “Why aren’t any Repubicans scientists” notes a poll that suggested only 6% of scientists are Republicans. But… it says that the survey sample was taken entirely from AAAS members. The problem is that AAAS is a political advocacy group, with the top issues it advocates for are climate change legislation, increased funding for the National Science Foundation, stem cell research, and green energy initiatives. So, they suggest that Republicans would NOT want to be part of such a group, and that explains the 6% numbers.

So, now that question remains: what percent of scientists are actually Republican?

      • gator69 says:

I stand corrected. Yes, only six percent of AAAS members are Republican.

Leftists tend to be “joiners”, they like collectives and “socializing”. The rest of us tend to ,prefer to be on our own, and we don’t join clubs and organizations just to be “part of something”. This is why cities lean far left, the hive attracts leftists.
